Montenegro Photo Tour Trip Report

Montenegro is a tiny European country located in the south of Adriatic coast. Despite being such a small country (in size and population) it offers incredibly diverse photo opportunities. Its dramatic coast is full of amazing fjords, beaches, islets and historical UNESCO cities. The north is very different. Wild mountains, untamed rivers and bucolic villages – a heaven for landscape photography.

We were in Montenegro 11 days. This was enough to cover the highlights on the coast before we moved north to photograph mountains. We were based in two national parks, Durmitor and Biogradska Gora. Both very different and stunningly beautiful. The autumn colours were not in full display yet, but we had favourable weather conditions practically all throughout the trip. What a blessing! Enough words, let the images speak for themselves!
