Winter Dolomites Photography Workshop

Dolomites in Winter Trip Report

Winter is one of the best seasons for photography in the Italian Dolomites. Our 6-day Dolomites photography workshop is scheduled when the chances for winter conditions are highest. We carefully select locations for their easy access and high altitudes to maximize opportunities for capturing snow and ice.

This year, our small group of four (all returning clients) spent the first three days around Cortina d’Ampezzo. We then moved toward Marmolada, the highest peak in the Dolomites. Our journey concluded at Passo Rolle, photographing the dramatic peaks of Col di San Martino.

Below, you’ll find a selection of shots by Luka Esenko, the workshop leader.
